What we do...
WILDLIFE REHABILITATION PROJECT
Our biggest ambition is to establish the first wildlife rehabiliation center in Mongolia. Since 2018, we have been voluntarily rehabilitating injured animals and officially established the Mongolian Bird of Prey Care Center non-governmental organization in 2020. We provide evidence-based education and resources on wildlife rehabilitation to move the field of wildlife rehabilitation forward; to promote wildlife conservation and welfare; and to mitigate human-wildlife conflicts worldwide, through better understanding of wild animal ecology, behavior, and welfare.
ARTIFICIAL NEST CONSERVATION PROJECT
During the research, 213 species of birds were recorded in the study area, with more than 80% being migratory birds. The predominant bird species nesting in artificial nests include the Saker falcon, Upland Buzzard, carrion crow, and common kestrel.
